What and Why
As anarchist, Taoist, socialist, farmer, egalitarians (feminists and humanists, we could go on), we thought surely we knew what resistance looked like. Its signs and megaphones wielded by angry citizens in an oppressed society, class or system. It’s in your face and obvious. Then we learned a phrase – Everyday Acts of Resistance. Ideas of quiet, subtle, yet effective resistance came to the forefront of our minds. This is a blog to highlight how we, the people, resist oppression daily, by every day acts that show our humanity, our community awareness, and our right to equal and just treatment.
